Converse has introduced their newest silhouette—the Run Star Trainer—surpassing the iconic Chuck silhouette as the new every day, every activity sneaker.

With a keen focus on sports, the Run Star Trainer draws aspects from almost twenty previous silhouettes, each originally crafted for specific athletic endeavors ranging from karate, fencing, soccer, wrestling, to, even, steeplechase; these past inspirations combine to create a shoe designed for comfort in any activity.

The Run Star Trainer features an outsole tread pattern from the Chuck Taylor All Star, extending through the heel and embellished with the distinctive Star logo from the Run Star Hike series. Visually, the trainers share similarities with the iconic Adidas Samba or traditional soccer shoes, characterized by their rounded toe box and low-profile design.

Converse’s Run Star Trainer blends nylon, suede, and leather in its upper construction, highlighting the multi-dimensions. The sneaker comes in various color options, including Golden Wren, Blue, Red, Egret, and Black.

The Converse Run Star Trainer is now available globally at Converse.com and select retail stores.
