Shot by acclaimed editorial photographer Mark Borthwick. the Courrèges Spring/Summer 2025 Campaign is a portrait of the modern free spirit that inspires the French fashion house’s designs. The visual simplicity, focusing on the Carré Magique top as its central motif, allows the uniqueness of each garment to shine through.

Use of trompe-l’oeil by Borthwick, a defining characteristic of the Fall/Winter 2024 campaign shoot, uniquely showcases the smallness of some of the abstract pieces from Courrèges. Light shines through, back lighting the model without affecting the geometrical nature of the pieces. 

Cutouts in some of the dresses and men’s shirts mirror the way light is diffused in the shoot. Standing off center, each shot is cinematically composed. 

Courrèges achieves a sensation of nostalgia and romance in both the lighting and styling — pairing light and dark separates to create a minimalist but effective contrast. 

The Holy Bag is the sole starring accessory of the collection. Uniquely shaped but on-trend with a rounded handle, it adds a realistic touch to the otherwise ethereal and optimistic collection.
