The Spanish house marks a decade of Jonathan Anderson’s creative direction with the release of Crafted World: Jonathan Anderson’s LOEWE, a 636-page monograph documenting his reinvention of the house. Available for pre-order on March 21, the book serves as both a visual time capsule and an artistic manifesto, tracing his legacy from his Spring/Summer 2015 debut to the Spring/Summer 2025 men’s collection.
Since joining LOEWE, he has redefined the brand’s identity, merging Spanish heritage with an art-driven sensibility. Under his creative direction, the house has embraced experimental silhouettes and design, challenging the very idea of fashion as a fixed concept. Instead, he presents it as something fluid. By pushing the boundaries of meaning and function, Anderson invites us to question not just what we wear, but why we wear it.

Curated through the distinct editorial eye of the Irish ex-creative director, Crafted World contains images of his most iconic collections, campaigns, and runway shows with archival references of art and design. Alongside visuals, intimate behind-the-scenes moments and conversations with longtime collaborators were incorporated. This provides a deeper look into his creative process. The book also features a foreword by Zadie Smith, a dialogue between Anderson and stylist Benjamin Bruno, and reflections from the brand’s artistic network.

Anderson has shaped LOEWE into a house where fashion, art, and craft coexist in a constant exchange of life. From launching the LOEWE Craft Prize to collaborating with artists like Anthea Hamilton, Hilary Lloyd, and Lucie Rie, he’s made craftsmanship as much a part of the brand’s identity.

Presented in a limited-edition box with LOEWE’s signature Anagram in copper, Crafted World is both a collector’s item and a chronicle of a decade of reinvention—illustrating how clothing isn’t just worn but remembered, how design and technique leave lasting imprints on culture, and how creative direction can subtly reshape our understanding of luxury and identity over time.
