For the sixth installment of our CreatiVity program in partnership with Quadio—a new social streaming platform dedicated to showcasing the best new college music—we have our eyes on an emerging British-American duo.

When the California loving Jadeyn Madsen met the and British dream, Lou Courts a romantic whirlwind ensued. Their love story sparked in the summer of 2015 at a summer program at the Berklee College of music but alas was cut short. Luckily, the pair rekindled their fairytale romance returning as students to the Berklee campus in 2017, and a year later the pop-duo formed a band, Valencia. The genuine connection between the couple creates an unheard of musical chemistry, which is further enhanced by airy vocals. Familiar with the ups and downs of long-distance relationships, “Chasing” explores the realms of a one-sided relationship and the ultimate decision to keep the connection alive or end it. With the weight of the world on all our shoulders, “Chasing” is ever so relevant. Listen down below.
