#NowTrending: Bold Colors

Shades of every color in the rainbow took the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week Men’s.

Fashion Editor: Aryeh Lappin

As we look back at day 2 of this season’s runway shows, we couldn’t help but notice yet another trend, walking right in front of our eyes: COLOR! Technicolor visions of fuschia, sky blue, candy apple, and violet were among the many shades of colors spotted. Exquisite tailoring and bodycon ensembles delivered a fresh look to this morning’s show, capturing the attention of many showgoers. Breaking the norms of traditional masculine dressing, these designers demonstrated that tapping into your most colorful side pays off in a crisp and contemporary way. By infusing oversized suit jackets and slimmer fit trousers with risqué cutouts and energetic color palettes, this morning’s runway shows have set a precedent for autumnal dressing, reassuring many that our fall/winter wardrobe is about to get a whole lot more vibrant.

Discover our top picks from Day 2 of Men’s AW20 Paris runways shows:

Louis Vuitton

For your autumn/winter wardrobe, Think Pink! Pops of fluorescent pink were spotted all throughout the collection through the infusion of vibrant accessories with refined clothing pieces, complimenting the cloudy theme of Virgil Abloh’s collection for the house of Vuitton.

Rick Owens

For Rick Owens’ latest collection, the mix of womenswear and comforting hues of blue were amongst the trends that first walked down the runway at this morning’s shows. Bodycon knitwear with asymmetrical hemlines stood out in a sea of tailored looks.

Givenchy

At Clare Waight Keller’s show for Givenchy, 2-piece tailored suits with high-waisted trousers were the star of the collection, showing a refined take on modern-day menswear. A nod to the 80’s trend of laid-back eveningwear, the french label portrayed a modernized version with monochromatic ensembles.

Homme Plissé Issey Miyake

This morning, casual and effortless was the vibe for Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé show. As a nod to the past, Miyake continued its legacy in the form of classic silhouettes and bringing back the use of corduroy, this time in the form of loose-fitting pieces with vibrant shades of cerulean, canary yellow and violet.

Amiri

For Amiri’s Fall/Winter collection, colorful layered tops with striking outerwear in subdued shades of earth tones were spotted throughout the show with elements of low waisted trousers in varying textures, giving us a ’70s glam feel.
