Demna wraps up a decade at Balenciaga with Exactitudes—his final collection before heading to Gucci, where he was announced as creative director in mid-March. It is a retrospective-turned-runway that’s part archival, part personal scrapbook, and unmistakably Demna. The Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection pulls from 35 past seasons, incorporating pieces from the Georgian designer’s own closet and reinterpreting the silhouettes, volumes, and codes that made him one of fashion’s most polarizing (and celebrated) voices.

For Demna, it has always been about questioning the contemporary wardrobe — what people actually wear, how they wear it, and where the line blurs between luxury and everyday life. Inspired by the anthropology of dress and influenced by Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek’s Exactitudes series, each look channels the essence of the house’s identity with mega-padded jackets stacked, camo trousers slashed to bits, and puffer coats swelling with Michelin Man proportions.

But wait, there’s more. The collection comes accompanied by a surprise guest muse: Britney Spears. Alongside the Spring 2026 collection, the Spanish house has also launched the next edition of its Balenciaga Music series, this time with none other than the princess of pop herself.

The Balenciaga Music | Britney Spears collab drops June 3, complete with vintage-style tees, hoodies, and caps featuring Spears’ autograph—plus, iconic imagery by Rankin and Steven Klein. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Britney curated a playlist just for the occasion, and BFRND’s pulse-pounding remixes of “Gimme More” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” are the glittering cherry on top.

“I have always loved fashion and was so honored and excited Balenciaga and Demna chose to collaborate with me on Demna’s last collection,” Britney shared. The limited-edition merch + exclusive playlist + BFRND remixes drop TODAY on balenciaga.com and major streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify).

Lastly, in true Demna fashion, he’s staging a resumé exhibition at Kering’s Paris HQ — an open-to-the-public look back at his creative universe, running June 26 to July 9, with registration available via balenciaga.com.
