Diana Gordon Releases Music Video for “Rollin”

The Grammy Award winning new-wave grunge artist also has an EP titled “Wasted Youth” due out later this week.

Diana Gordon aims to form emotional connection through her music, with her voice as the primary vehicle in doing so. Her music revolves around hard-hitting 808s and drums, ’90s-inspired alt-rock, dark folk, and her mezzo-soprano vocals to create a sound that’s original and striking. Due to her ability to seamlessly fuse multiple genres, Gordon has a handful of Grammy Awards to her name for her songwriting and producing endeavors. The multi-talented artist has also worked with some of music’s most prominent names, including Mark Ronson, Beyonce, Dev Hynes, and Mary J. Blige.

Visualizing the spirit of being young, wild, and free, Gordon’s new endorphin-producing music video for her acclaimed single “Rollin” was released earlier this week, with the artist also credited as creative director. The video’s premiere comes amidst anticipation for Gordon’s EP Wasted Youth, arriving on April 3rd via Facet Records/Warner Records.

Wasted Youth is adorned with 7 genre-bending tracks that reaffirm Gordon’s wide-ranging musical palette. Covering the spectrum, the EP features hard-hitting trap, acoustic guitar instrumentation, and passionate vocals that ultimately blends rock, trap, and grunge into one.

Watch the video for “Rollin” below, where Gordon takes us back to the ’90s with effects reminiscent of the decade’s iconic camera fuzziness along with grunge-chic get ups, and stay tuned for Wasted Youth hitting streaming services on Friday.
