The appointment of Diarrha N’Diaye as Executive Vice President of Beauty & Fragrance marks Kim Kardashian and CEO Jens Grede’s strategic expansion beyond shapewear and into the realms of scent and skin.

A first-generation Senegalese-American entrepreneur and self-described “architect of modern inclusivity,” N’Diaye built Ami Colé, a clean beauty brand celebrating darker complexions that redefined what inclusivity looks like. Its weightless complexion products and luminous lip oils brought new life to dewy minimalism, reclaiming it for women whose complexions had too often been excluded.

Now, as SKIMS EVP, she will oversee product development, innovation, and brand strategy. “Beauty is deeply emotional,” she’s said in past interviews, “and inclusivity has to be baked into the product, not tacked on in the campaign.” Expect that same conviction to ripple through every future SKIMS launch.

Before founding Ami Colé, N’Diaye worked at L’Oréal Paris, Rebecca Minkoff, and Glossier, mastering the art of building communities around formulas that actually work. At Ami Colé, she turned viral demand into validation. In just four years, the brand collected more than 80 awards, including five Allure Best of Beauty wins and a coveted spot on Oprah’s Favorite Things list. With that said, the countdown to SKIMS Beauty begins now. The brand makes its debut in 2025.
