For anyone unfamiliar, Jonathan Anderson has long been one of fashion’s most exciting and shape-shifting forces. In the beginning, he originally pursued acting before pivoting to fashion, eventually studying menswear at the London College of Fashion. After early work at Prada, he launched his own label, JW Anderson, in 2008, gaining fast recognition. By 2013, he was named Creative Director of LOEWE, where he transformed the Spanish house into one of fashion’s most innovative and coveted brands. From reimagining leather craftsmanship to creating hits like the Puzzle bag and pushing art-meets-fashion collaborations, Anderson made LOEWE a name that resonated globally.
Now, at Dior, his appointment signals a new chapter that’s all about unifying the house’s creative direction under a single vision. Delphine Arnault, Dior’s Chair and CEO, said she’s confident Anderson will bring a modern, inspired take to the brand, while Bernard Arnault of LVMH called him “one of the greatest creative talents of his generation.” Anderson himself has expressed his admiration for Dior’s rich history and legendary ateliers, promising to craft the next chapter with deep respect and creative curiosity.
His first official debut will be Dior Men’s Summer 2026, set to hit the Paris runways on June 27, 2025.
