At Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, Creative & Image Director of Dior Makeup Peter Philips proved that “barely there” is anything but basic. Each model walked with a luminous, fresh face—makeup that seemed to whisper, not shout, yet still commanded attention alongside Jonathan Anderson’s debut womenswear collection for the house. “The intention was to accentuate and enhance the natural beauty of each face,” Philips explained, describing a play of light and translucence elevated by nude tones.

Skin prep was key to the flawless look, using Dior Capture Le Sérum and Dior Les Patchs Yeux to hydrate and brighten the under-eyes and face. Just three products—Dior’s Forever Skin Glow, Backstage Rosy Glow Stick in 006 Berry and 012 Rosewood, and Forever Skin Correct—were used to even the complexion and bring warmth to the cheekbones.

The eyes were quietly accentuated with soft shades from the Diorshow 5 Couleurs 559 Poncho palette, while Diorshow On Set Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler tamed the brows. Lips were brought to their full potential with the help of Dior Addict Lip Glow Butter 103 Toffee.

Lest we forget that hands and hair are just as essential as the face. Philips used Dior Le Baume to make the hands smooth and supple, while reinforcing the pared-back sensibility with nails painted in Dior Vernis 108 Muguet. Hairstyles included a simple middle part with the hair loose or tied back to suit each look.
