Luxury French fashion house Dior launched the latest version of their classic Lady D-Lite bag, a reimagined velvet dream of elegance and femininity as part of their Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

The new twist on the classic Lady D-Lite bag retains Dior’s elements of sophistication and beauty, but with a plush twist of soft, velvet fabric by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. 

Adorned with architectural lines and an exclusive 3D embroidery technique, the statement bag is available in new shades of burgundy and navy blue, donning the Cannage motif in monochromatic matte thread, enhanced by the use of deep cotton shades.

Keeping in line with the previous versions of the bag, the new velvet colors retain the tonal “Christian Dior” signature in a striped band across the front and pale gold “D. I. O. R.” charms adorning the handle. The classic silhouette is complete with a removable and reversible shoulder strap—an elegantly practical finish to the handbag of the modern divine dream.

The new Medium Lady D-Lite bag retails for $4,800 USD and is available now in select Dior boutiques and on www.dior.com.
