For their Spring 2018 campaign, Dior is paying tribute to model and artist Sasha Pivovarova. Shot by Patrick Demarchelier, th new ad campaign see Sasha pose in the new ready-to-wear collection, adding to her angular, mesmerizing female portraits. The creative process displayed in the new campaign is said to be reminiscent of French-American artist and filmmaker Niki de Saint Phalle, according to Dior's famed artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The 1960s-esque advert evokes a feminine yet cheeky vibe while also promoting a feminist message. Pivovarova opened the Dior show in a t-shirt printed with the title of Linda Nochin's essay, "Why Have There Been No Great Female Artists?" The new collection is both sophisticated and sultry, and the rich combination of fashion, artwork and femininity has produced a timely campaign perfect for the spring season. See the campaign below.
