Known for creating a worldwide jelly-shoes craze through the 1980s onward, as well as collaborations with some of the world’s most beloved designers like Vivienne Westwood and Jean-Paul Gaultier, Brazilian heritage brand Melissa has now teamed up with Telfar on a collection of sandals and a transparent reimagining of Telfar’s iconic shopping bags called Telly Jelly.
Just in time for the height of summer, the Telly Jelly collection is crafted from sustainable, mess-free Melflex materials, exclusive courtesy of Melissa. The bags are made with a tubular construction and fluid lines, and come in Telfar’s usual small, medium, and large sizes, ranging from $150 to $250.
To complete your full Telly Jelly look, this new release also offers clear unisex slides for $100 a pair.
The collection will be available online at Telfar.net starting July 14th, at shopmelissa.com, and in-person at Galeria Melissa New York from July 17th.
