Dogecoin to Host Dogepalooza Music Festival
Festival season approaching? Say no more.
A music festival hosted by Dogecoin is set to take place this October. Called “Dogepalooza,” the festival will take place in at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, with talks of taking the festival global in the works.
Open to the public, the festival will include live entertainment — including a headline by Dionne Warwick herself, — food, vendors, charities and educational opportunities for learning all about Dogecoin.
General admission begins at $125 per person, and goes up from there for VIP selection. According to Dogepalooza’s website, the festival is an “all-around global celebration and movement of: Do Only Good Everyday (DOGE).”
Though the rest of the lineup is still to be announced, “the fun and friendly internet currency,” has also announced that Grammy Award winning producer Damon Elliot and rising star Chloe Flower will be joining Warwick as a headliner.
Supporting a number of charities such as the American Cancer Society and the Lupus Foundation of America, the festival chose these specific organizations with the idea that they too believe in Dogecoin’s motto.
“We put those in need first,” says the festival’s website. “Each festival location will designate local and national charities to benefit from Dogepalooza in a financially substantial way-no strings attached. No corporate administrative structure to drain the resources, enabling us to give back more to the community. We keep it simple. We’re changing the world.”
