Dogs of Acne Studios Join Its Fall/Winter 2020 Collection Campaign

The latest collection reimagines vintage workwear and includes dog motifs.

Acne Studios launches its Fall/Winter 2020 collection featuring team members and their dogs!

This season’s collection features dog artwork by British artist Lydia Blakeley and portraits of team members and their pups, fittingly, Swedish photographer Anders Edström captures Acne Studios’ staff at their headquarters in Stockholm along with their pets, in “pup-focused” garments and oversized suits from the collection.

“A while ago, I became a dog owner myself. Ever since then, I’ve started to notice the ‘dog people’, walking, being, and dressing,” said Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios. “I didn’t see them in the same way before and now I guess I’ve become one myself. For this collection, I wanted to highlight and credit that subculture for all the inspiration it has given me.”

The portrait captures a few team members like Pontus Björkman, Global Wholesale Director, and his Yorkshire Terrier Kenzo; Edouard Schneider, Global Communications Director and his Miniature Dachshund Pumba; Ioana Ciocan, Technical Designer and her French Bulldog Jasper.

The Acne Studios F/W ’20 collection also reimagines vintage workwear combined with Lydia’s dog motifs, which are screen-printed on cotton staples and flannels. Not to mention, this season includes a range of fabrics from classic denim to soft silks in a mix of bold tones and neutral hues.
