Doja Cat and SZA are Back at it with New Single “Shirt”

The Grammy-winning duo are at it again.

Doja Cat and SZA are teaming up once again for a new single, called “Shirt.” The pair won a Grammy earlier this year for best pop duo performance for their hit song “Kiss Me More.”

SZA teased the collaboration during her performance at the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain. “Want to know a secret?” she asked the crowd. “You all want to know who’s on this song? It’ll be like our secret, right? The hint is we already have a song together. Her name starts with a ‘D’ and it rhymes with Soulja,” she revealed.

This isn’t the first time SZA has teased fans with the song. She posted a snippet on Instagram in late 2020, and later took the sound to TikTok, where it went viral with dance trend. She used that same snippet at the end of the “Good Days” music video, further teasing the unreleased track.

Though there is no set date for the songs release, fans are justifiably excited. “Shirt” will likely be SZA’s first new song since she marked the 5 year anniversary of 2017’s Ctrl by dropping the deluxe version, complete with seven previously unreleased songs.
