For the month of August, Dolce & Gabbana has partnered with the Italian institution Confindustria to bring the works of Leonardo Da Vinci to life for the exhibition ‘Imagining The Future: Leonardo da Vinci: In The Mind Of An Italian Genius’, showcasing 12 original autograph drawings from the famed 1,119 sheets of the Codex Atlanticus, a loaned courtesy from Italy’s Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana.

Making a voyage from its home in Italy to Washington D.C. in the U.S., the public will have the exciting opportunity to view Da Vinci’s works & drawings for free on display at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.

Gifted to the Biblioteca Ambrosiana, created by Alta Orologeria Dolce & Gabbana is the exclusive D&G Chiaravalle Watch undoubtedly inspired by Da Vinci’s own illustration of an astronomical machine of the Chiaravelle abbey—of course from the Codex Atlanticus which is to feature at the exhibit as well alongside other Dolce & Gabbana watch creations from the Manifattura Italiana and Alta Orologeria collections in respect to the main exhibition.
