A light show and a fashion show rolled into one, Dolce & Gabbana Men’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection made its debut with sparkle, shine and glamour. Streamed on their website, and coined #DGLightTherapy, the Italian fashion house led by power design-duo Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana honed in on design and craftsmanship in this campaign.

Hosted at Metropol, the location transformed into a stunning display of various lights and fixtures, emblazoned with crown displays and exquisite arches brilliantly flashing in tune to the music. An impeccable backdrop for this season’s designs, Dolce & Gabbana’s designs paired skillfully with the setting.

Mesh tops, silky button-ups and intricately ordained blazers compose the collection, also featuring extremely detailed floral patterned silk pieces and bright colored silk suits.

Known for their notoriously bold details, Dolce & Gabbana don’t skimp when it comes to jewels this season. Encrusted on pants, sheer tops, matching jackets, jeans, bucket hats and even loafers, the jewels in this collection steal the show, shining as bright as the luminous lights surrounding them.

Paying homage to their Italian background, various silk track sets in different lengths embellished with “ITALIA” across the front also stand out within the collection, as models walked in these oversized or form fitting red white and green tracksuits with a crown atop their head. 

Multi-faceted outerwear also took the spotlight, showcasing a half pinstripe blazer with a floral silk collar while the other half of the jacket was a dusty rose boxy blazer adorned with a celestial brooch.

Reflecting the environment around them, draping tops and pants show scenes of a light show, emulating the true #DGLightTherapy essence. 

Whether chains are draped across a neck or delicately adorned into a pair of sandals or platform slides, the gilded pieces truly define what Dolce & Gabbana aim to deliver in terms of their infamous house.

Glamour, leisure and elegance come together in this collection to represent love and life, inspiring all to celebrate the illuminating collection.
