Dolce & Gabbana just debuted their new exhibition “From the Heart to the Hands” at Milan’s Palazzo Reale. Running from April 7 to July 31, this showcase is a must-visit for art and style enthusiasts. Curated by Florence Müller and supported by the Municipality of Milan–Culture with production by Palazzo Reale and IMG, this exhibition marks the start of a global tour celebrating the brand’s creations and Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The exhibition commenced with an event celebrating its grand opening: a star-studded lineup with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and intimate in-house dinner. VIP guests, such as Alton Mason, Lucien Laviscount, Olivia Culpo, Isabella Rossellini, and more, were then led on a specialized tour of the exhibition, where they had the opportunity to explore the artwork and immerse themselves in the world of Dolce & Gabbana.

Upon entering the Palazzo Reale, visitors are greeted by an array of digital artworks by artists such as Felice Limosani and Quayola. The exhibition, unfolding across ten rooms, dives into a different aspect of Dolce & Gabbana’s creative process. From handmade designs to traditions of Venetian glassworking, every room offers a new experience and perspective on style.

From architectural inspirations to nods to Sicilian traditions, each room tells a story that is as rich and vibrant as Italy itself. In the final room lies a tribute to the world of Opera, where Palazzo Reale transforms into an Italian theater showcasing designs inspired by the designers’ favorite operas.

“This extensive exhibition project is the result of a significant network of knowledge and art, forged through a genuine collaboration between Palazzo Reale and Dolce&Gabbana,” notes Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture. “The generosity of these two artists, who share a profound affection for Milan, extends beyond selecting it as the inaugural destination for their grand exhibition world tour. They also contribute to the restoration of artworks and rooms within Palazzo Reale, including the magnificent Throne Room.”
