Dreamville Festival Postponed Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
J. Cole’s music festival will be delayed until the Fall.
J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival announced last weekend that the event will officially be postponed. The music festival is the latest event responding to the ongoing health concerns of the coronavirus.
Dreamville Festival posted on social media an official statement regarding the postponement, along with the caption: “Your safety is our main concern. See you in August @dreamvillefest.”
The statement reads: “While this decision has been extremely difficult to make, the safety of our fans, artists, and staff is always our top priority, and nothing will ever take precedence over your well-being. We now encourage everyone to follow the guidelines and various preventive measures put forth by local and national health authorities.”
In light of this recent decision, Dreamville Festival also noted that the announcement of their full music lineup will be re-scheduled as early as next week.
The event originally scheduled for April 4 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, will now take place on Aug. 29 of this year. Read the full statement below:
