Dries Van Noten Exhibits Darren Bader at the Little House in Los Angeles
Welcomed by Dries Van Noten at The Little House, Darren Bader’s masterpieces will be exhibited from September 23rd until October 30th.
Known for his trash sculptures, his conceptual art and humoristic misattributions, the artist questions himself about the object as being an artwork and the process in which a sculpture can become a being.
Interacting with nature and exploring complex juxtapositions, and rearranging unexpected associations, the artist will present a new exhibition.
Entitled Group Show, Darren Bader will invite the spectator to walk through his installations made from a diverse range of disciplines and mediums. Digital media art will be combined with pop elements, as well as surreal AR sculptures that will be associated with paradox elements.
His work includes assemblages from objects previously owned by famous people, fake Ikea instructions, junk mail, interactive arts like a QR-driven “portal” that leads to 3D animation sculptures and a lot more.
Group Show will be the Stateside premiere of Bader’s latest comic book.
Located on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, the flagship store which extended beyond its habitual retail experience will curate the designer’s work who will exhibit his work in this Little House for the very first time.
