DROMe CELEBRATES 10 YEARS AT PARIS FASHION WEEK
Drome’s AW19 Show at Paris Fashion Week was an ode to bold femininity.
DROMe presented their Autumn/Winter 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week celebrating 10 years of the brand. “Diverging Symmetries,” seemed like a compilation of Marianna Rosati’s greatest hits at DROMe, continuing to promote the brands message of bold femininity. Rosati was inspired by several artists such as Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi and Cynthia MacAdams series of portraits titled “Emergence” and American photographer Norma Quintana’s work “Circus: A Traveling Life.
With fluid silhouettes, the collection had masculine and feminine elements paired with unexpected layering and overlaps to create a balance between strength and vulnerability, passion and desire; as these were elements present in one ofBrancusi’s carved muses that the collection was inspired by. Rosati’s collection had fresh new prints with punchy, bright colors such as hot pink and neon mint along with more toned down, earth tones such as caramel, soft moss and maple.
Accessories such as printed square toed boots and décolletés, gathered shell-bags in varying sizes, thin knee-high socks, embellished multi-colored gloves and maxi-belts completed each look.
