Dsquared2 Gives Viewers Backstage Access for Milan Digital Fashion Week

The Italian brand invites viewers to watch the lookbook come to life from wherever you are.

This season, the Italian brand Dsquared2 returned with sporty and fun looks for its Pre-Spring/Summer 2021 collection for Milan Digital Fashion Week. The duo designers, Dean and Dan Caten, incorporated themes of sportswear and summer traveling into must-have pieces.

The Caten pair walked viewers through a backstage set as if it were at a fashion show and showcased both menswear and womenswear. “Going deeper into the experience of the fashion shoot, we invite the viewer onset of our new collection, where all the moods and themes play out in a rolling take of models in the looks,” the Caten duo said. “It’s like a campaign come to life. It’s an insider’s peek behind the scenes.”

Both collections have energized sporty pieces, essential for the warm climate. The lookbook includes pieces like sweatshirts, oversized suits, and denim that utilize primary colors and summer stripes which add a youthful spirit to the collection. They’re especially comfortable and constructed with easily packed technical fabrics like nylon and cotton combined with thermo-sealed detailings. Not to mention, some garments have the distinct “Dsquared2” logo on them, which brings out the brand’s vitality. The collection also features some staple items like their colorful and bright sneakers, versatile and perfect for any upcoming occasion even if it’s lounging at home.

The COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t stop Dsquared2 from having fun, and Dean and Dan Caten invite all of us to watch the lookbook come to life “whenever you are, wherever you are.” You can view the full lookbook here and pre-order the collection here. Here are some of our favorite looks below!
