It’s been an eventful summer for Dua Lipa. Her marriage and subsequent honeymoon with beau Callum Turner sent fans into a spiral of lovingly-charged jealousy. This August, Dua has assigned Madeline Cash’s buzzy release Lost Lambs. Along with the recommendation, Dua released an interview with the author that explores Cash’s creative process. Lost Lambs, debut novel from Cash, follows a family that is wildly unraveling. The parents are navigating an open marriage while their kids each enter tricky points of adolescence. The plot is chaotic with deep characters and evocative themes. Using Service95, Dua and authors connect books to wider lessons, themes, and worldly observations. Summarized by their tagline, the goal of Service95 is to “read the world differently.”
