The artist has now officially confirmed that Future Nostalgia is, indeed, the name of the record, and shared more details on her sophomore album. Influenced by the likes of Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Moloko, Blondie and Outkast, Lipa said she was trying to “break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine.”
In live elements mixed with electronic production and disco elements mixed with pop, the songstress will yearn to re-experience something that has not yet been. The record will come out sometime in 2020, and Lipa is set to go on a European tour starting April 26 in Madrid, Spain to celebrate the launch.
