It’s almost that time. With fall hovering on the horizon and summer a month away from mourning its final goodbyes, it comes time to *thankfully* turn off your AC and kiss sweat stains goodbye. While most people may resent this summer wrap-up, others, such as myself and many other fellow New Yorkers, welcome fall with open arms and a polite visit to Beacons (because let’s be honest, the Beacon’s fall selections are often top-tier).

Not too hot, not too cold. What the heck do I wear? Well, first off, I want to start by acknowledging that there is no better season to embark on those trailblazing fits if not for fall. With the heat waves mostly dissipated and more money in your bank account from the pragmatic abandonment of those truly unruly air conditioning bills, it’s time to welcome a wardrobe synonymous with the climate. That means clasping onto your favorite light, silk, or mesh-lined knits, colorful buttons downs, and the occasional designer tee, guaranteed to leave you feeling breezy and one step ahead.
