Eckhaus Latta has always been a little quirky—asymmetrical silhouettes, patterned prints, etc. This time, they have turned to Denmark, teaming up with ECCO for a radical capsule collection pulled from the archives. The shoe debuted on the Autumn/Winter 2025 runway back in February, and now the ECCO.kollektive x Eckhaus Latta is finally available.

Now in its sixth season, ECCO.kollektive is collaborator-focused, inviting design disruptors to create new ideas. In the hands of Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, the result is material-forward, a little weird, and unmistakably theirs.
Their entry point? The ECCO Joke, a 1970s moccasin that screams dad-core, transformed into a slip-on mule with an exaggerated curved sole and a leather-wool hybrid upper. There’s also the Joke Lace, a chunky lace-up with heavy hardware, and the Vibration—a low, collapsible slip-on that doubles as a mule, with elastic laces that look like they were doodled into being.

We’ve seen this trend of past silhouettes coming back (remember those Fila dad sneakers?), but this is done with intention. It’s not a reissue but a redesign, merging two brands together to create something current.
“We share with ECCO a curiosity in the transformation of something familiar,” Eckhaus and Latta said. That curiosity is palpable—shoes that have been labeled orthopedics end up somewhere a little more poetic.
The ECCO.kollektive x Eckhaus Latta capsule is available now at select stores globally, in a turn of red, black, and silver. Like all good collaborations, it doesn’t scream for attention. It just walks a little differently.
