Continuing a thrilling Paris Couture week, Giorgio Armani brought a breath of fresh, familiar air with his Armani Privé’s Spring 2018 Couture collection, embodying the complex relationship of fashion and the working woman. Rising above cliche, this runway provides a classic, elegant evolution of chic power-suits, delicate cocktail attire, and formal evening gowns.

Each blazer, owning a throwback sentiment but more so traditional sharp shoulder, offers effortless executive finesse, channeling the innate boss within each of the models sauntering down the runway. As the collection progressed, the continuation of a minimal pastel color scheme developed into petite mini dresses and short suits, each stitched together with the perfect coalition of sexy and silhouette, including bare shoulders, deep v cuts and sheer details playing its card in some. As tailored male figures trailed behind, rounding out this collection, Giorgio Armani delivered a few sure-to-be shoe-in, near future red carpet couture, ranging from flattering straight lined drapery to pristine corset fitted ball gowns.

Not straying far from his instinctive aesthetic, Armani continues to use his creative Privé platform and vision, intended for the multi-layered female. A consistent narrative of forever the Armani woman: elegant, classic, complex.
