Elon Musk, NASA and Tom Cruise Are Shooting the First Action Adventure, In Space
A film out of this world.

What do you get when the Tesla billionaire befriends a movie star? A movie in space—yes outer space. Elon Musk and Tom Cruise are pairing up to work with NASA on the first narrative feature film to be shot outside of this world.
The movie is said to be an action adventure, which would only make sense given that Tom Cruise is a true action figure. According to Deadline, the film will be assisted by Musk’s SpaceX program, his rocket and spacecraft-manufacturing company. The project is still in its early stages and with a new baby boy, Musk will definitely be juggling more than the usual.

But for Musk this is just another one of his many bizarre ideas, but not the most outrageous yet. When you compare it to his idea of nuking the red planet to bring temperatures up in order for us to colonize it—the movie actually seems quite feasible. The man is known to make the impossible possible, so don’t be surprised when the outer space film hits the theaters.
