The innovative eyewear collection broadens the scope of the rapper/singer-songwriter’s creative artistry and features both a campaign and an offline space, as well as a mobile app.
Consisting of four fashion forward designs, the collab pays careful attention to detail with distinct silhouettes and artful craftsmanship. From sporty aviators with metallic crystal-enhanced frames and glimmering KUN logos to modern oval shapes in a variety of shades, there’s something for every taste.
The accompanying Gentle Monster Crystal Clear mobile app launches April 21 and will offer users the chance to join an immersive digital world as secret agents, each helping KUN on his top secret missions. For three weeks after the launch, the top 10 ranking users will receive a special prize featuring pieces from the capsule collection.
Visitors at Gentle Monster’s Shanghai and Beijing stores can experience a Cai Xu Kun pop-up and explore Kun’s special agent items.
The collection launches on April 23 and will retail from $279 to $460, online and at the Gentle Monster New York flagship store.
