For the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Superga welcomes Emily Ratajkowski as the brand’s new global ambassador. The Italian shoe brand employs Ratajkowski’s love for the brand and creative mindset to reinvent some of Superga’s classic styles. The capsule collection combines the brand’s Italian heritage with a timeless and effortlessness to create the perfect laid back silhouettes. 

As a fan of the brand, Ratajkowski has worn Superga’s throughout her lifetime. From running around New York City for castings, to sporting the sneakers in her every day life, Ratajkowski wanted to bring her own style into the mix. “Superga is a brand I’ve been wearing during all stages of my life and I am thrilled to be part of this campaign, especially since I’ve never designed my own footwear before,” said Ratajkowski. 

For the collection, Ratajkowski reimagines the Superga 2750 and Alpina in her vision. The Superga 2750 is the first Italian tennis shoe. The original owner made the shoe of 100 years ago, and it’s been a staple shoe ever since. For her redesign, Ratajkowski sticks true to the original heritage, but adds a new cream and white look. For the Alpina, Ratajkowski brings the 1950s style into the modern era by adding tubular laces and the same color scheme from the 2750s. 

The campaign takes place in Los Angeles at the iconic Milk Studios. Zoey Grossmann is the mastermind behind the camera who brings Ratajkowski’s vision to life. As a new mom, easy movement and comfort and key factors when it comes to style. For her imagery, Ratajkowski poses in effortless, yet classy clothing that works for day and night. Paired with her Superga’s, the images give off the perfect cool girl chic.
