Emporio Armani’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 Campaign, Captured on Film

Mia Armstrong, Josephen Akuei and Xiru Yang headline a film-shot series built around the architecture of Berlin’s Funkhaus
Emporio Armani’s Fall/Winter 2026–27 collection draws from the atmosphere of colleges and conservatories, where formal clothing is part of everyday life rather than reserved for special occasions. Photographed on film by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign is set inside Berlin’s Funkhaus, the former East German broadcasting complex. Its large rooms and functional design suit the collection’s more structured pieces, while the warm-toned materials keep the setting from looking cold.

The cast includes Mia Armstrong, Jesephen Akuei, Xiru Yang, Morgan Sahadow, Alexander Kosi, Camero, and Kai W. McLellan moves from distant views of the building to portraits that bring the clothing into clearer focus. The analog format gives the photographs a noticeable grain and reduces the sharpness usually associated with digital campaign images. It also highlights the different textures found throughout the Funkhaus. By using the same photographic treatment across the series, the campaign connects the clothes to the location without turning the building into its main subject. The result presents Emporio Armani’s formal pieces in a way that feels current and suited to the individual wearer.
The campaign also covers Emporio Armani’s accessory lines. Manu Ríos appears in the images for Eyewear, Watches, and Jewelry after building an international acting career through Élite, Strange Way of Life, and Day Drinker. Olympic swimmer Nicolò Martinenghi represents the Emporio Armani Sea Explorer watch. For Fall/Winter 2026–27, the watch is produced in Grade 2 titanium, which reduces its weight while maintaining strength. Martinenghi won the 100-meter breaststroke at the Paris Olympics in 2024, making him a relevant choice for a product designed with performance in mind. These additional campaigns bring the clothing and accessories together under the same seasonal direction.

The campaign reflects Emporio Armani’s position as the younger expression of the Armani wardrobe. Youthfulness is presented through the freedom to wear formal clothing without being defined by it, rather than through exaggerated styling. The silhouettes provide a framework, but the wearer determines the final impression. This approach allows Emporio Armani to revisit established house codes.
