For all your sunglass needs, South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster has debuted a SS2021 pre-collection of seven eye-catching sunglass styles.

Entitled “Void,” the collection looks toward the future and the boundless possibilities that exist in the open void that is symbolic of what may come. Deep, I know. As sight has a strong connection to the future, looking ahead, seeing what’s in front of us, Gentle Monster is providing us with the ideal collection for looking toward the future.

A common theme in many collections right now, as everyone around the globe deals with uncertainty in our futures, Gentle Monster channels this uncertainty into an exploration in the future of eyewear.

The seven latest styles to know are Rick, Frida, New Bond, Ghost, Deus, Kings, and Agail, with Hyper and Rave coming soon. Ranging from oversized to cat-eye to geometric, the collection offers a variety of styles for your specific aesthetic.

Certain styles are transformative, speaking for themselves, while others are key elements to enhancing a head-to-toe look. The New Bond embraces a sort of intergalactic eyewear, its name possibly hinting at futuristic iterations of secret agent James Bond. Frida offers a confident update on the oversized styles we’ve seen on timeless icons such as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Still, each style is unapologetically itself. You can find what the future holds in style while wearing one of these pieces from Gentle Monster.

All in acetate and metal frames with various iterations in shape and color lenses for each, prices for the pre-collection go from $259 to $270.
