ETRO Fall 2020/21 Collection Is A Hymn to Harmony and Love For Nature

Featuring Mario the swan, Anita the snail, Rino the toad and more.

Lensed by photographer Dario Catellani, the ETRO Fall 2020/21 ad campaign comes in as a hymn to harmony and love for nature. Building on the principle that the humankind is meant to co-exist together with nature and animals on the same planet Earth, the Italian fashion house portrays an act of union and sharing in which animals and human beings are co-protagonists.

Portrayed on an essential background, nine human beings and 28 animals convey the desire for a new era of mutual respect. The project’s human participants include founder Gimmo Etro together with Mariacarla Boscono, Fernando Cabral, Maty Fall Diba, Eva Herzigova, David Kammenos, Felice Nova Noordhoff, Parker Van Noord and the young Olivia, all pictures alongside Mario the swan, Anita the snail, Anna and Adamo the ducklings, Camilla the lamb, Rino the toad, Gianni the peacock and others.

“Today more so than ever, we are aware of how much the Earth is a unique and precious Mother for us all, needs to be preserved and protected,” the brand’s creative directors Kean and Veronica Etro explain. “In the past months, we observed the rebirth of nature and the free expression of many animals. With this campaign, we wanted to reproduce in images a harmonious balance with the animal kingdom, remembering that as human beings we are part of it as well.”

The campaign is an expression of this universal connection to nature that has always belonged to ETRO’s culture and values. ETRO strengthens this sentiment by partnering with WWF Italy to support the organization’s conservation activities dedicated to the wolf, one of Italy’s symbolic animal species.
