UGG is never not having a major moment. And in true iconic behavior, the brand is back on the global stage with a star-studded cast of dynamic creatives and fashionable faces for its massive ‘Feels Like UGG‘ campaign, including rising runway and editorial powerhouse Alex Consani. V pinged Consani to candidly chat all things UGG and to capture a behind-the-scenes look at the new campaign.

V: What’s your earliest memory of the iconic UGG brand?

AC: Being in school and seeing all the girls I looked up to/wanted to be like wearing them. It became full lore for me. And the year I convinced my parents to get me a real pair for the holidays, it was my only gift. They were these gray UGG boots I wore to the ground. I’m talking holes in the bottom.

V: How does it feel to be featured alongside these other dynamic creatives in the ‘Feels like UGG’ campaign?

AC: Amazing! It was such an incredible group of artists and creatives and being able to meet them and work amongst them is more than an honor. Also, just getting to go to South Korea for something like this was such an eye opening experience and truly just put the cherry on top.

V: Favorite highlight of shooting the campaign in Seoul?

AC: The fooood!! The Korean fried chicken is so supreme!! And of course having my first time in Asia be with UGG.

V: Describe the modern UGG wearing diva.

AC: Fab. Wears clothes for themselves. Effortless. Makes their own choices. And of course, has style.

V: BRAT summer is almost over. As a certified 360 girl, what do you predict will be the theme for the forthcoming fall season?

AC: Clothes not made for the weather. As a California girl, I’m team mini skirt in the snow with a nice UGG boot!

V: Any advice for the final stretch of 2024?

AC: Be yourself and don’t let anyone tell you what you’re doing isn’t amazing. If you believe you’re on the right path and living life for yourself, anyone who says otherwise is just a hater. Self-respect is the best respect.
