Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood was filled with theater and whimsey, taking the reigns for partner Vivienne Westwood. Kicking off with a bloody red draped suit with leather opera gloves, Kronthaler integrated religious motifs, art references, and odes to his partner’s established principles for the fashion house; however, the collection showed distinct characteristics of his experimental touch. padded suit jackets resembling ornate doublets and Victorian-style dresses hinted at Kronthaler’s dedication to tailoring.

While crystal fringed hoods or ruched masks at times covered glamour, it balanced against the bright colors through matte neutral eyeshadows and finely placed eyeliner. The skin was semi-matte – allowing a freshness to the stoic-faced models. There were pops of a coral lip at times, contrasting against bold striped fascinators.
