Earlier this week, Dior presented an ephemeral haute couture collection with the Tree of Life as the grounding symbol of the show. In collaboration with Olesya Trofymenko, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri represents the Tree of Life through long evening gowns where cotton, silk, and rope threads embodied the branches and roots of trees. These feminine and poetic silhouettes allowed the models to freely let the clothes glide and flow down the runway. Through the lens of Schohaja, V Magazine goes behind the scenes and gets a glimpse of the intimate moments before the models take the stage. Models twirl around in their elegant floral gowns while getting last-minute hair and makeup touch-ups before the show starts.
