On a deep-sea exploration, Iris van Herpen’s Autumn-Winter Sympoiesis collection celebrates the relationship between nature and design—collaborating with artists, biodesigners, and the ocean itself.

In partnership with van Herpen, the stylistic vision of V’s Fashion Director-at-Large, Nicola Formichetti, brings the collection’s whimsical designs to life, animating each piece through the lens of fashion. Statuesque models, including J Moon, Akuol Deng Atem, and Tianna St. Louis, are delicately draped in otherworldly sculptures of meticulously manipulated organza, waving resin-coated silk, laser-cut mushroom leather, and Spiber biofabrics.
