This Fall/Winter 2026 season, Brandon Maxwell moves between worlds, embracing one of the moment’s prevailing themes: contradiction. Control and release, strength and vulnerability, precision and instinct exist not as opposites, but as necessary counterparts.
The collection feels deeply personal. “I’ve been working on finding a balance in my own life,” Maxwell notes, “and I think that work is reflected in the breadth of the collection.”

His eponymous brand has evolved, blossoming into something assured and refined. Maxwell understands his audience, delivering a collection that speaks to people as complex beings rather than simply as consumers. Exploring the interconnectedness of experience, it considers femininity through a modern lens. Contradiction surfaces once more: fluid fabrics that maintain structure, sensuality shaped with precision, each look newly brought to life.

Menswear appears throughout the collection, too: tuxedo shirts, cottons, jackets. What would traditionally be sharp, strictly tailored, appears softened. The tailoring is given space to breathe, relaxing and allowing the fabric to move freely. Throughout the collection, fabrics tell a story, with beading on knits, sequins, hand-fraying, and sliced leather. The incredible range is on full display, Maxwell presenting a capability of both sharpness and abstraction.

Accessories appear as another mode of storytelling, with baguette bags, leather-crafted pieces, and statement jewelry adorned with natural stones. This collection’s beauty is not about display, but about a projection of the inner self. Maxwell displays a journey of self discovery, encouraging one to take part in the journey and strive for something larger.
