Fashion with Fangs: Inside the Vampire Lestat x Palomo Capsule Collection

Ahead of the series’ June 7 premiere, Spanish designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo and AMC join forces on a 16-piece gothic capsule collection

Lestat de Lioncourt has always dressed like he owns the night. This season, he has the wardrobe to prove it.

On June 7, AMC and AMC+ debut The Vampire Lestat, the rock-and-roll reinvention of Interview with the Vampire that finds Lestat, played by Sam Reid, trading the drawing room for the stage. This season, he embarks on a multi-city tour, ascending into something between celebrity and cult leader as his influence over vampires and humans alike becomes increasingly uncontrollable, alongside cast members Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle.

To mark the premiere, AMC did something television networks rarely do: they called a fashion designer. Spanish house PALOMO — founded in 2016 by Alejandro Gómez Palomo and built on a foundation of transgressive romanticism, Andalusian craft, and an instinct for the theatrical — proved a surprisingly perfect fit. The result is The Vampire Lestat x PALOMO, a 16-piece capsule collection that reimagines some of the brand’s most recognizable silhouettes through the series’ gothic, sensual lens: sculptural tailoring, dramatic volume, and historical craftsmanship transformed into something entirely contemporary.

“Designing this capsule for The Vampire Lestat became an exploration of a shared universe, where the theatrical language of PALOMO meets Lestat’s magnetic, provocative spirit. There’s an instinctive dialogue between the brand’s romantic, expressive identity and his emotional complexity, each piece telling a story that blurs the boundary between fashion and character, elegance and rebellion.” says Alejandro Gómez Palomo, Founder and Creative Director of PALOMO.
