Fashion’s Next Big Thing

Savannah College of Art and Design showcased their upcoming talent in the annual fashion show

Savannah College of Art and Design presented a runway showcasing some of fashion’s most promising emerging talent. Senior and graduate students from the SCAD School of Fashion were selected for the opportunity to present their collections, each chosen by an esteemed panel of judges and recognized for its innovation, craftsmanship, and creative vision.

This year, 60 designers were selected to present their creations, amounting to nearly 200 looks. Guiding the student models is industry icon Coco Rocha, while the show concludes with a special collective of six student designers chosen to be mentored by Peter Copping, artistic director of Lanvin. Under his direction, they created an eveningwear collection that serves as the runway’s grand finale. Judging by the breadth of talent on display, this is a class that wears its creative confidence well.
