This time last year, Fendi and Juilliard launched the Fendi Vanguard Awards, a recognition of four Juilliard students with immense potential in their given performance disciplines. The award honors one actor, one dancer, and two musicians—and this year’s recipients have just been announced! V is excited to congratulate 2022 Vanguards Stella Everett (drama), Raven Joseph (dance), Peter Lim (historical performance; harpsichord), and Mary Beth Nelson (voice) on their latest accomplishment.

These 2022 Vanguards are in for more than just an award and bragging rights. Along with a monetary prize, the performers will have access to numerous press and media opportunities, a chance to perform at a Juilliard-hosted Fendi event, individual mentorships with Fendi professionals, and year-long styling by Fendi for professional and academic commitments.

Recipient Stella Everett is from Sydney, Australia, completing a BFA in Drama in the class of 2023.

Recipient Raven Joseph is from Queens, New York, completing a BFA in Dance in the class of 2023.

Recipient Peter Lim is from Atlanta, Georgia, completing a MM in Historical Performance—Harpsichord, in the class of 2023.

Recipient Mary Beth Nelson is from Orange County, California, completing a MM in Voice, in the class of 2023.
