FENDI Casa Opens Milan Flagship Store
A world of comfort and splendor, the first store in a series of international openings boasts everything you need for your home
Immerse yourself in the ultimate luxury home experience with FENDI Casa’s newest flagship store. Opened this week in Milan, the space is located downtown in Piazza della Scala next to the city’s bustling fashion district. “Situated in the heart of Milan, next to the Teatro alla Scala, one of the city’s most important and representative city landmarks, the boutique is located in an ideal position between the world of fashion and that of design,” said CEO of FF Design Alberto Da Passano. “A prestigious showcase, enhancing the new collection while providing a unique experience for our customers”.
FENDI Casa is, for the first time, presented in a single dedicated space, constructed at 700 square meters with 13 large windows overlooking the streets below. Elegance and grandeur are the foundation of the boutique, which plays with light, materials, and earth tones to encapsulate two floors of living, dining, sleeping and outdoor areas.
Continuing in their collaboration with Peter Mabeo—founder of his eponymous Botswana-based design studio—the fashion house’s artistic directors Kim Jones, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Delfina Delettrez Fendi come together to present a vision of sophistication and desirability. The store’s entrance and four of its windows are adorned with six pieces from the KOMPA Collection, unveiled in December 2021 at Design Miami, that honor artisan techniques.
A walk through the space finds living, reading, and dining areas that highlight pieces from the new collection: five sofa and armchairs designed by Marcel Wanders, the Arches table by atelier oï, Parsifal sofa and armchairs by Thierry Lemaire, Marrakesh tables designed by Toan Nguyen, and the Vittoria sideboard by Cristina Celestino. The sleeping section features a marble floor that separates levels. Included is the Landscape bed by studio Marcel Wanders and the Vanitoso dressing table by atelier oï, alongside a living area whose installation is complete with sofa’s, armchairs, and a reading nook. Accessories embellish each room, including rugs by Yellow Sign adorned with the FENDI Pequin logo-non-logo striped pattern and the Karligraphy logo designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
The Casa flagship opening is the first in a series of international openings, including stores in Miami and Shanghai.
