With the launch of FENDI’s first ever worldwide men’s campaign, the Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, the brand has announced its first global menswear ambassador—Nicholas Galitzine. The actor, who starred as Luke in Netflix’s Purple Hearts and as Prince Robert in the 2021 Cinderella, led the campaign, wearing sophisticated yet comfortable pieces from the collection designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi.

The collection is all about subverted classicism—grace comes through without losing functionality or comfort. Outerwear, including double-faced cashmere, blanket coats, ponchos, and knitwear, with silvers, indigos, and violets create layered silhouettes. Double-breasted overcoats with satin lapels are topped off with mohair scarves. Many of the pieces show off the new FENDI “Shadow” logo, replacing the “astuccio” motif.

As Silvia Venturini Fendi acts as the house’s Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, accessories are found everywhere in this collection. The brand’s classic Peekaboo handbag and Baguette Soft Trunk feature the iconic “FF” monogram. The new Hobo Satchel is finished in violet grained leather, while black leather makes up the new Chiodo backpack. Cuban heel boots with an “F”-logo heel and mesh-detailed Frame moccasins and Flow sneakers make up the footwear. And when it comes to eyewear, the campaign shows off the newly-revealed FENDI Shadow sunglasses.

The jewelry was designed by Artistic Director of Jewelry Delfina Delettrez Fendi, with cuffs, chains, and squared pendants all engraved with the Shadow logo. Pendant earrings and graphic-chain necklaces are made up of interlocked “F” motifs, while the “O-Lock” design comes back on a double-dial round wristwatch.  

Galitzine has been attending shows of the brand for the past couple years. He attended the Baguette 25th Anniversary show in New York in September, 2022, and the Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 show in Milan in January. Now his role takes center stage, as the video campaign, directed by Nico Vascellari, shows Galitzine wearing a plethora of overcoats, scarves, suits, and accessories that will let you stay warm through the snowy months while retaining FENDI’s signature elegance.
