Ferragamo Pays Homage to Italian Cinema for the Fall/Winter ’25 Campaign

In this season of Ferragamo, the Italian house spotlights patent leather platforms and masterfully tailored handbags as their newest campaign’s protagonists
Lights, camera, Ferragamo! The Italian fashion house takes its dramatic storytelling beyond the typical editorial lens, writing a love letter to the visual language of Italian cinema for Fall/Winter 2025. The seasoned cast—Mariacarla Boscono, Awar Odhiang, Apolline Rocco Fohrer, and Tim Schuhmacher—cues the dramatics center-stage in a showcase of cinematic vignettes.

Written in the house’s heritage, Ferragamo has long championed the beauty of Italian culture—Italian style, Italian craftsmanship, and now, Italian cinema. Through the perspective of photographer Craig McDean, Ferragamo immortalizes moments of longing on the silver screen, each product playing the part of the protagonist, captured in full focus. The Golden Age of motion pictures is recounted through the marvelous acting of the season’s main characters—Maximilian Davis’ Ferragamo creations. This season’s staples—a sleek patent leather wedge, an elegant silken scarf dress, magnetically precise tailoring—take on their own personas under the cinematic spotlight.
Archival products are seen revitalized. The bow-bedecked Vara heel is transformed with gloss and elevated, while the menswear classic Tramezza shoes breathe a new contemporary life, still enduring Ferragamo’s savoir-faire. Even the house’s latest pieces, the Hug Bag and the Soft Bag, appear reimagined, printed with palms or fantastically filled with fur.
