A desire for freedom in everyday life has never been more coveted. Ferragamo meets that desire with the launch of their new shoe collection “Let’s Dance”, perfectly combining lightness and comfort with iconic style. 

Like fashion, dance also shapes the era in which it was created. “Let’s Dance” is inspired by the rebirth of society, celebrating all we’ve overcome and all that we have left to overcome. Ferragamo saw creating a shoe in the image of dance, and dance culture, as the best way to present this move forward. Dance is as much a creative expression as it is a moving frame of mind & universal language, like fashion.  

The collection features a look for every occasion, every day. The colors range from sunshine yellow, ruby red, glowing orange, as well as classic colors like black, silver and gold. Styles include: ballet flats; a lightweight lace-up; a Gancini moccasin; a sandal; a pump; and a soft boot. 

The launch of the collection is accompanied by a short film directed by American director Danielle Lessovitz, that depicts the symbolic dialogue between dance and shoes. Three contemporary dancers —  Anita Lorusso, Naomi Weijand and Tania Dimbelolo — present a series of ensemble and solo performances, with the help of “Let’s Dance” light-as-air shoes. 

Ferragamo will also be hosting a “Let’s Dance” dance challenge on the brand’s new TikTok channel. Starting mid-June, anyone can follow tutorials by the three dancers, film themselves and post. The best videos will be published on Ferragamo’s TikTok and Instagram accounts.

The “Let’s Dance” capsule will be available from mid-June in Ferragamo boutiques and from ferragamo.com.
