On Saturday, Ferragamo presented their Spring-Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection at Milan Fashion Week.

The collection is a nod to the roaring ’20s, the era that inspired the season for Creative Director Maximilian Davis. It also marks the decade when Ferragamo was founded. Davis went back through the Ferragamo archives for inspiration and designing of new iterations, and nods to the jazz age are incorporated through designs, fabrics and accessories.

Dropped waists speak to the designs of the era, but the incorporation of a more modern take provides contrast. Twenties fringe drips off scarves, belts and dresses, and in some instances, cascading to the floor. Color-blocked looks offer splashes of lemon, cerulean and coral among neutral tones.

Men’s looks incorporate some color blocking and capture elegance through speakeasy suiting. Harlem Renaissance zoot suits inspire some of the collection, and leather ties are stunning. Tuxedo waists are created through scarf sashes adding richer texture to a classic look.

The collection emphasizes reinvention, and this characterizes the energy of the 1920’s while being relevant today. “This was a moment where women were creating a new femininity—it was a celebration of freedom, a reclaiming of self,” explains Davis. “It was a period when people were creating spaces for themselves and rebelling against societal norms—and that spirit translated into people’s wardrobes.”

Some of the celebrities in attendance for the show were actress Naomi Watts, singer-songwriter Solange Knowles and model and activist Christy Turlington.
