One of the most anticipated shows of the season is upon us as Givenchy gears up to display their Fall/Winter 2020 collection today, Sunday, March 1st at 2 pm EST. See below for the first glimpse of the course at how the Parisian House will unfold it’s magic this afternoon at the historic horse racing facility, Hippodrome Paris Longchamp. 

Inspired by a cinematographic atmosphere, the set design of the fashion show refers to the French “nouvelle vague” cinema. A concrete tunnel with red varnished, lacquered seats conjures ‘90s in Clar femininity. Cinematic mystery is demonstrated as a play of light in cones that the models will pass through, while shadowy silhouettes are projected on their return.
