Fondation Louis Vuitton Presents: The Morozov Collection
The Morozov Collection, an expansive art collection, will be featured in Paris at Fondation Louis Vuitton.
The Fondation Louis Vuitton — an art collection and museum located in Paris and sponsored by LVMH — will present the Morozov Collection starting this week, which features one of the world’s foremost collections of Impressionist and Modern art. This collection brings 200 works of art from brothers and art patrons Mikhail and Ivan Morozov French and Russian modern art collection to Paris.
On display beginning September 22 until February 22, this will be the first time the collection made its way out of Russia since its creation. The exhibit, which is second in and installment of the Icons of Modern Art series, highlights the aspects of historical and significant artistry of the past.
The collection features renowned work by artists such as Manet, Rodin, Monet, Pissarro, Toulouse-Lautrec, Cézanne, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Picasso as well as Russian artists including Repin, Vrubel, Korovin, Golovin, Serov, Malevich, Mashkov, Outkine, Saryan and Konenkov and of course, more.
Partnering with the State Hermitage Museum (Saint- Petersburg), the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) and the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), this collection aims to highlight the partnership and collaboration of French and Russian institutions.
With a renowned collection featured in the heart of Paris’ Bois de Boulogne, the Morozov Collection is a major exhibition that cannot be overlooked.
