Released over several drops, FUTURE introduces his collection for LANVIN LAB, characterized by the strength and attitude he is known for. The Atlanta-born musician and producer’s collaboration with the French fashion house features unisex clothing while emphasizing his love of layering, tailoring, and flair for accessories. A creative hub for artists and designers, it’s no wonder LANVIN LAB decided to inaugurate its first collection with such an auspicious celebrity personality.

“I created a vibe with this collection,” says FUTURE in a statement. “Something you can feel when you wear it.” The collection includes hats in faux fur, sunglasses, hoodies, belts, bags, gloves, and leather goods, all with metal accents that characterize the collection. Sleep sets with slippers, a pillow, and a mask make anyone’s dreams come true.  Elsewhere, two symbols throughout the collection–the Eagle and the Star–take significant meaning. The Eagle evokes courage and truth, while the Star is protective and empowering, guiding the way forward.

FUTURE’s commitment to family, as seen in his entertainment company Freebandz, not only meshed well with LANVIN’s familial history, but it also appealed greatly to the musician. This first edition of LANVIN LAB will focus on music, which has influenced both FUTURE and the history of the house, as Jeanne Lanvin’s daughter and muse Marguerite was an accomplished musician as well.

Pulling from the archives, FUTURE creates a jacket with metallic studs embroidered into leather, creating a dazzling constellation. The 1930s-1940s typography is printed into denim and established his own updated sneaker: the Curb 3.0.

The campaign, photographed by Joshua Woods, features Amelia Gray and the singer himself, and both the collection and FUTURE’s birthday were celebrated in Las Vegas at the LANVIN boutique. The LANVIN LAB will continue to actively invite creatives from every industry to help expand the house’s stories and experiences, offering a space to dream and play.
